Description

  • Support early development and clinical manufacturing builds
  • Create procedures and work instructions for manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Contribute to plant layout, 5S, visual management, and workflow improvements
  • Gather and analyze manufacturing data to inform engineering decisions
  • Collaborate with operators, technicians, and engineers to troubleshoot problems and improve quality, yield, and efficiency
  • Help implement new equipment, processes, and manufacturing controls while upholding a safe work environment
  • Take part in pilot operations and R&D meetings and activities
  • Adapt promptly to shifting priorities
  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable engineering program
  • Maintain a minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • Be available to work full-time onsite throughout the co-op
  • Apply strong analytical abilities
  • Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
  • Communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and interpersonally
  • Work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team
  • Show motivation to apply academic engineering concepts to real-world work
