Quality Excellence Capability Partner at BD - Remote

BD is seeking a remote Quality Excellence Capability Partner to strengthen regulated quality capabilities across North America through training, coaching, and continuous improvement.

Description

  • Lead the Quality Excellence Academy rollout across North America
  • Create and deliver instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs
  • Translate quality requirements into scalable learning solutions with process owners and subject matter experts
  • Identify capability gaps and build learning pathways, curricula, and development plans
  • Lead regional capability efforts in Investigation Management, Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving, and related quality disciplines
  • Extend capability programs to Process Validation, Change Control, Technical Writing, and future strategic priorities
  • Coach associates, leaders, and subject matter experts in technical expertise, decision-making, and quality-process application
  • Support onboarding, role-based development, and targeted remediation initiatives
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness through observations, assessments, performance metrics, and stakeholder feedback
  • Promote consistent methodologies, tools, and best practices across sites
  • Collaborate with site Quality teams, Central Quality, Learning & Development, and business leaders
  • Maintain training governance and documentation for learning-effectiveness activities
  • Analyze quality data, metrics, inspection findings, and feedback to identify capability and improvement opportunities
  • Support CAPAs, effectiveness reviews, and remediation plans
  • Facilitate Kaizen events, structured problem-solving workshops, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Distribute best practices and lessons learned across sites
  • Foster continuous learning, accountability, quality excellence, and operational effectiveness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, science, engineering, or a related field
  • At least five years of experience in a regulated medical device, pharmaceutical, or biologics environment
  • Proven expertise in Quality Engineering and Quality Systems within a regulated industry
  • Experience using quality principles to improve product and process performance
  • Background delivering Quality or technical training in regulated environments through instructor-led, virtual, and blended formats
  • Working knowledge of CAPA, nonconformance management, change control, process validation, design controls, and risk management
  • Experience coaching associates, subject matter experts, and leaders
  • Experience developing and supporting training-effectiveness activities using observations, feedback, metrics, and verification methods
  • Strong facilitation, communication, and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to engage varied audiences, including senior leaders, both in person and virtually
  • Ability to collaborate across functions and influence stakeholders in a matrixed organization
  • Strong organization skills and close attention to detail
  • Experience with problem solving, continuous improvement, and Kaizen
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25% to 50%
  • Ability to provide training in English and Spanish
  • Experience supporting audit and inspection preparation, response readiness, or remediation is preferred
  • MBA or equivalent business experience is preferred
