Principal Solution Architect – Dell Data Protection | Cairo Hybrid
Lead Dell Data Protection pre-sales and delivery engagements for Capgemini’s technology transformation clients. Based in Cairo with hybrid delivery and travel across the Gulf and Africa.
Description
- Lead consultative technical work during pre-sales engagements
- Translate customer business objectives and requirements into systems or applications for complex technology solutions
- Act as the project team’s primary technical consultant
- Serve as the Remote Delivery subject-matter expert for the relevant domain across complex sub-regions
- Manage pre-sales qualification and produce architectural designs, strategies, and delivery plans
- Build customer relationships and identify further opportunities within existing accounts
- Oversee project quality assurance activities
- Potentially supervise technical staff on large projects, including training and on-the-job mentoring
- Maintain advanced knowledge of Dell Technologies products, integration capabilities, and related environments
- Add to technical knowledge bases, white papers, and technical sessions
- Coach less experienced team members in project delivery and technical disciplines
- Lead enablement and readiness for priority solution delivery and emerging technology areas
- Combine on-site and remote delivery while supporting work in Egypt and traveling across the Gulf and Africa
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or another related technical discipline
- 10–14 years of hands-on experience with Dell Data Protection solutions in enterprise environments
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Advanced knowledge of Dell Data Protection technologies, including Data Domain, NetWorker, Avamar, PowerProtect Data Manager (PPDM), Cyber Recovery Solution (CRS), vProtect, and CyberSense
- Experience leading complex solution architecture and delivery engagements
- Advanced customer communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong technical documentation and process-writing abilities
- Advanced understanding of project management practices, including risk, escalation, conflict, and crisis management
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience
- Strong knowledge of third-party integrations and enterprise infrastructure environments
- Ability to lead change initiatives and support adoption of new processes, tools, and technologies
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel across Egypt, Gulf countries, and Africa according to business needs
