Payroll Analyst - EMEA at Cloudera, Cork Hybrid

Support accurate, compliant multi-country EMEA payroll processing at Cloudera in a hybrid Cork role. The position covers payroll accounting, reconciliations, reporting, audit support, and continuous improvement.

Description

  • Process monthly payrolls and year-end reporting accurately and on schedule across the EMEA region
  • Review payroll output reports for approval and alignment with company policies
  • Coordinate with external payroll providers and internal stakeholders to complete monthly payroll close efficiently
  • Release employee and statutory payroll payments by the required deadlines
  • Prepare payroll accounting and accrual entries for the finance system
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and flux analysis for payroll accounts
  • Address Accounting queries and advise employees and stakeholders on payroll matters
  • Produce ad hoc business reports as needed
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors to fulfill payroll-related requests
  • Support payroll initiatives focused on continuous improvement
  • Maintain compliance with SOX, internal policies, local tax requirements, and payroll legislation

Requirements

  • Three to five years of experience in a fast-paced, multi-country payroll environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, and G-Suite
  • Experience with NetSuite, Payslip, or Workday is advantageous
  • Experience working with an external payroll service provider is preferred
  • Proactive approach with the judgment to identify and resolve issues early
  • Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of payroll accounting principles
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of payroll best practices
