Part-Time Remote Web Designer in the Philippines
Create and maintain responsive client websites for Mediagistic, a home-services marketing and advertising agency. The role covers page production, asset optimization, website testing, revisions, and SEO implementation across digital projects.
Description
- Build and update responsive websites with tools such as Divi
- Work with project managers, team leads, and marketers to improve layouts and functionality
- Improve website performance, accessibility, and user experience
- Stay informed about current web design trends, tools, and practices
- Deliver accurate revisions and project updates on schedule
- Create web pages aligned with client goals and brand guidelines
- Prepare and optimize graphics, images, and other web assets
- Apply SEO best practices throughout the web design process
- Test usability and responsive behavior across browsers and devices
- Investigate and fix design issues after websites launch
- Submit finished work for review and apply internal feedback
- Clarify project scope, requirements, and priorities with project and marketing teams
- Offer creative concepts for digital initiatives
- Share project progress, revisions, questions, and needs with colleagues
- Support Mediagistic clients as part of a collaborative web team serving home-services and skilled-trades businesses
Requirements
- At least two years of professional web design experience
- Practical experience creating and editing websites with a website builder
- Familiarity with content management systems such as WordPress
- Experience using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
- Basic knowledge of UX and UI principles
- Strong command of responsive and mobile-first design
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, or XD, or comparable software
- Working knowledge of design fundamentals, layout, and element positioning
- A strong portfolio featuring web design projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting and complete revisions quickly
- Careful attention to detail and reliable deadline management
- Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Availability Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM US Eastern Time
- Legal authorization to work in the country or region where the position is based
- Experience with Divi, LiveCanvas, digital marketing or advertising agencies, SEO, current web trends, HVAC or related equipment brands, or AI tools is preferred
Benefits
- HMO coverage is available to eligible full-time agents in the Philippines and Jamaica after 90 days of active employment
