Lift Repair Engineer - Reading, UK
Stannah Group is hiring a Lift Repair Engineer to service and repair lifts across Reading. The role covers breakdown response, component replacement, fault diagnosis, and accurate safety-critical service records.
Description
- Repair lifts and investigate faults
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical problems
- Replace and upgrade lift components
- Respond to breakdowns and support call-outs
- Restore lifts to safe, efficient operation
- Cover a local patch across Reading and nearby areas
- Service commercial, residential, and public sites
- Complete site documentation and maintain accurate records
- Organise daily work with support from a local supervisor when required
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or an equivalent qualification
- Professional experience in lift service and repair
- Full UK driving licence
- Applicants must have the appropriate right to work
