Description

  • Partner with product managers and in-house hardware engineers to identify and understand their engineering challenges
  • Plan, design, build, test, and refine software solutions against functional and non-functional requirements
  • Collaborate with and review the work of other lead software developers through co-design and pair programming
  • Contribute across the backend platform, including data models, algorithms, pipelines, infrastructure, APIs, complex database queries, and machine learning models
  • Adopt, strengthen, and continuously improve practices that support high-quality software delivery

Requirements

  • At least five years of professional software development experience
  • At least two years of professional Python development experience
  • At least two years working as a senior software engineer
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Professional experience in an agile software development environment
  • Previous experience as a tech lead is desirable
  • An interest in electronic engineering is desirable
  • Experience with Python 3.11, PostgreSQL, Django, mypy, GraphQL, Docker, Redis, TypeScript, and React
