Lead Associate, Medicare Broker Sales - Texas Remote

Lead Medicare broker sales across Greater Houston by building agency partnerships, training agents, managing events, and growing membership. Use Salesforce and sales analytics while maintaining compliance with CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines.

Description

  • Implement the HealthSpring strategy across local top-line sales agencies, directly contracted agents, and broker downline sales in the assigned market
  • Expand profitable membership through relationships with brokers, agencies, providers, community partners, and Centers of Influence
  • Develop and maintain new agency partnerships
  • Deliver sales presentations to relevant audiences
  • Coordinate and run community and sales events
  • Provide training for agents and brokers
  • Track sales results against established goals
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM, reporting systems, and data analysis to document activities, evaluate performance, and uncover growth opportunities
  • Assist with lead management, business planning, brand initiatives, and broker engagement programs
  • Maintain compliance with CMS Medicare Marketing Guidelines and company policies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree plus four years of health insurance sales experience, a master's degree plus two years of health insurance sales experience, or eight years of health insurance sales experience
  • Experience overseeing broker and/or field sales personnel
  • Record of achieving or surpassing sales targets
  • Understanding of the health insurance sector, producer community, and Consumer Markets products
  • Marketing proficiency
  • Consultative selling skills
  • Ability to train others
  • Interviewing and candidate selection skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication, including interpersonal communication, relationship development, presentation delivery, and interviewing
  • Proficiency with PC applications such as Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Active Department of Insurance license in the state of residence or through reciprocity
  • Employer sponsorship is unavailable
  • Willingness to travel locally up to 75%
  • Availability Monday through Friday during standard business hours, with evening meetings required according to partner and event schedules
