Description
- Design and deliver end-to-end AI/ML solutions, from model development through scalable production deployment with modern frameworks
- Lead AI/ML research and development focused on document intelligence, text extraction, and automated decision systems
- Advance technical innovation through RAG, multi-agent architectures, and transformer-based solutions
- Build, operate, and improve deployment and observability pipelines for production AI models
- Coordinate technical delivery among ML engineers, backend developers, data teams, and business stakeholders
- Create technical roadmaps, solution architectures, capacity plans, and system optimization strategies
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, engineering standards, and algorithm selection
- Work with business stakeholders to connect complex AI capabilities to measurable business value and ROI
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional software development or relevant research experience, including strong Python expertise
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience building and deploying production AI/ML solutions
- Expert-level proficiency in Python
- Working knowledge of FastAPI, Django, or Flask
- Hands-on experience with PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, HuggingFace, and LangChain
- Demonstrated expertise in NLP, modern transformer architectures, RAG, and multi-agent systems
- Strong experience with relational databases, PostgreSQL, data-processing pipelines, and ETL
- Experience architecting full-stack systems, leading complex AI initiatives, and mentoring engineers
- Experience working in financial services or another highly regulated industry
- Hands-on experience with document processing, PDF parsing, and text-extraction pipelines
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and strategies for optimizing large language models
- Publications or research contributions to AI/ML conferences or journals
- Availability to work in the office two to three days per week
