Description

  • Produce and publish 2–3 daily technology news and short-form editorial pieces.
  • Track developments across technology, AI, fintech, startups, and business.
  • Transform press releases and announcements into original, useful coverage.
  • Complete basic research and fact-checking.
  • Surface relevant developments for the editorial team.
  • Revise and maintain stories as new information emerges.
  • Deliver work against agreed daily and weekly editorial deadlines.
  • Manage newsletter production under the Editor-in-Chief’s editorial direction.
  • Select relevant stories and developments for newsletter inclusion.
  • Write newsletter copy and concise summaries.
  • Coordinate contributions from the broader editorial team.
  • Incorporate analysis, interviews, and insights from colleagues.
  • Keep the newsletter calendar and publishing schedule current.
  • Prepare newsletters for final editorial review.
  • Apply feedback from the Editor-in-Chief.
  • Distribute newsletters to relevant contact lists, manage subscriptions, and track feedback.
  • Upload and format published articles.
  • Publish editorial articles across the company’s social media accounts.
  • Maintain editorial calendars and delivery deadlines.
  • Support basic GEO and content optimisation.
  • Help develop event listings and ecosystem coverage.
  • Provide social and newsletter content support when needed.
  • Ensure published content remains accurate and consistent.

Requirements

  • Bring 1–2 years of experience in content writing, journalism, media, communications, or a related field.
  • Write confidently in English.
  • Produce clear, accurate copy at speed.
  • Apply sound basic research and fact-checking practices.
  • Show interest in technology, AI, startups, and emerging markets.
  • Work effectively to daily deadlines.
  • Maintain close attention to detail.
  • Respond constructively to editorial feedback and improve drafts.
  • Stay organised while managing multiple content pieces.
  • Deliver work reliably and consistently on schedule.
  • Previous newsroom or technology-media experience is a strong advantage.
  • Experience covering technology or business is a strong advantage.
  • Basic SEO knowledge is a strong advantage.
  • Newsletter production experience is a strong advantage.
  • Experience using CMS platforms is a strong advantage.
  • Experience with digital publications is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with AI and emerging technology is a strong advantage.
  • Basic knowledge of social media publishing and content distribution is a strong advantage.
