Junior Full Stack Software Developer (.NET)

Build .NET, cloud, AI, and business software for a U.S.-based technology company, creating integrated solutions for clients in manufacturing, distribution, and specialty services.

Description

  • Create and maintain web, server-side, and mobile applications with modern .NET technologies.
  • Build scalable cloud applications, REST APIs, integrations, and services.
  • Deliver features for web portals, mobile apps, manufacturing plant systems, and collaboration platforms.
  • Connect applications with ERP and CRM systems, Microsoft 365, and third-party services.
  • Help develop AI solutions spanning machine learning, OCR, computer vision, natural language processing, and generative AI.
  • Create Power BI dashboards and other data-led business solutions.
  • Contribute to solution design, code reviews, software testing, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Work with cross-disciplinary engineering teams in Costa Rica and the United States using Lean Agile methods.
  • Support ongoing improvement, code quality, and sound software development practices.

Requirements

  • Strong skills in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server.
  • Experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript and contemporary web development.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, cloud applications, and system integrations.
  • Experience with Git, Visual Studio and/or VS Code, software testing, and current software development lifecycle practices.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows and cloud development.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • One to three years of relevant work experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced spoken and written English.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work both collaboratively and independently in agile teams.
  • Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms and tools such as Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of frontend development and cross-platform mobile apps.
  • Preferred: Experience with AI, machine learning, generative AI, and LLM- or RAG-based applications.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of data, analytics, Power BI, and business intelligence.
  • Preferred: Experience with ERP or CRM systems, manufacturing, and supply chain operations.
  • Preferred: Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Graph.
  • Preferred: Certifications in Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or Microsoft development technologies.
