Description

  • Learn to install and repair marine cable systems throughout ships
  • Assist with installing and connecting lighting, receptacles, panels, and electrical power equipment
  • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments
  • Interpret simple drawings, schematics, and layout instructions
  • Work aboard ships in environments that may involve heights, confined spaces, and changing weather
  • Meet production needs across multiple shifts in a 24/7 manufacturing operation
  • Apply Ingalls safety procedures consistently across all tasks and work areas
  • Build electrical expertise supporting naval vessel power, lighting, communication, and control systems

Requirements
