IT Business Analyst

Shape SAP-enabled enterprise solutions and digital transformation initiatives. Turn business needs into designs, coordinate stakeholders, and support implementations from discovery through delivery.

Description

  • Work with customers, partners, and other external stakeholders to uncover business needs, define requirements, and develop solutions.
  • Run requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions.
  • Convert business needs into functional and technical specifications, user stories, process flows, and system design documents.
  • Serve as the main link between business users and technical teams across the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare business requirements documents, workflows, process maps, sequence diagrams, and related project materials.
  • Build low-fidelity prototypes and check end-to-end processes and user experiences.
  • Work with development and QA teams on test strategies and test data, and assist with user acceptance testing.
  • Investigate and resolve business and system issues.
  • Manage several projects and initiatives, balancing priorities, risks, schedules, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Bring cross-functional teams together to deliver projects and meet key milestones.
  • Find opportunities to improve processes and propose solutions.
  • Contribute strategic analysis and solution design to digital transformation and enterprise technology initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration, information systems, or a related discipline.
  • At least five years of business analyst experience in technology-focused environments.
  • Strong ability to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
  • Experience across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methods and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at every organizational level.
  • Experience handling multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of cross-platform integrations and enterprise systems.
  • Experience with SAP technologies and enterprise implementations.
  • Familiarity with ASAP methodology and design thinking principles.
  • Experience supporting end-to-end software or ERP implementations.
  • Exposure to process improvement, business transformation, or digital modernization initiatives.
