- Handle billing for policyholder insurance premiums and record incoming payments.
- Assist policyholders, agents, and colleagues through multiple communication channels.
- Prepare notices and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Process billing work such as endorsements, cancellations, reinstatements, audits, and disbursements.
- Adjust to ongoing changes and help support them.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of billing experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Good mathematical ability
- Careful attention to detail
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to address issues
- Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and other computer software
- Experience in a collaborative, team-based workplace
- Some college education or equivalent experience
- Associate in General Insurance designation preferred
