Head of Marketing

Build Sagetap’s scalable system for acquiring and activating Sage executives. Grow its AI-driven enterprise software discovery platform through content, events, partnerships, and referrals.

Description

  • Build marketing operations across CRM account lists, tracking, attribution, automation, and dashboards.
  • Lead Sage executive acquisition through events, paid and digital channels, partnerships, and product referrals.
  • Create a scalable advocacy program for Sages.
  • Work with the Senior Content Marketing Manager to expand Sage Signal content using proprietary data.
  • Lead Sage activation, including completion of the first session.
  • Set and manage the marketing budget, testing experiments before scaling and using vendor and VC sponsorships.
  • Speak with more than 30 Sages in the first 100 days and establish baseline costs by channel.
  • Work directly with the CEO and Head of Business Operations.
  • Build an acquisition engine that lowers the cost per activated Sage as the network grows.

Requirements

  • Experience building marketing operations and using data to guide decisions.
  • An AI-forward approach to work, with examples of what you have built.
  • Experience creating demand when the audience was scarce, such as in a marketplace, community, or network.
  • Strong writing skills and credibility with senior technology leaders.
  • Ability to speak with CISOs without relying on a script.
  • Readiness to run focused experiments and take ownership of a performance metric.
  • Experience in enterprise security or AI, community-led growth, executive events, or building a media property alongside a product is a plus.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must live and plan to work within 100 miles of San Francisco or New York City. The company is not currently registered to employ in New Jersey or Connecticut.
