Head of AI Expansion - Italy (Remote)

Description

  • Lead adoption of QVAC and Tether AI among enterprises, institutions, and governments worldwide
  • Find organizations that can benefit from local, private, decentralized, or sovereign AI capabilities
  • Align AI use cases with organizational priorities and develop implementation business cases
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior technology executives, AI leaders, and government stakeholders
  • Source, structure, negotiate, and close strategic AI partnerships and deployments
  • Create partnerships with providers of compute, hardware, infrastructure, and related technologies
  • Track partnership results, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies
  • Set and deliver Tether AI’s global go-to-market approach
  • Prioritize target markets, industries, and high-value AI applications
  • Convert client needs into deployable solutions with product and engineering teams
  • Develop and oversee a global pipeline of strategic AI opportunities
  • Track market, competitor, regulatory, and technology changes
  • Create and lead Tether AI’s global expansion function
  • Hire expansion managers, partnership leaders, solution architects, and other essential team members
  • Define KPIs, operating playbooks, and commercial workflows
  • Work closely with AI, engineering, product, and regional expansion teams
  • Represent Tether AI in strategic discussions, government meetings, conferences, and industry events
  • Present Tether as a strategic partner for AI sovereignty, privacy, resilience, and infrastructure independence

Requirements

  • At least seven years of experience in AI, enterprise technology, infrastructure, or technology business development
  • Deep understanding of AI and machine learning, LLMs, inference, local and edge computing, data infrastructure, and decentralized architectures
  • Demonstrated success personally sourcing, structuring, and closing major enterprise technology deals and partnerships
  • Established relationships with senior decision-makers at enterprises, technology companies, and/or government organizations
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities
  • Background in building and leading high-performing teams
  • Independent, entrepreneurial approach suited to fast-moving environments
  • Degree in AI, computer science, engineering, business, or a related discipline
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Ability to speak at least three languages is desirable
  • Comfort working across multiple countries, geographies, and cultures
