Finance Analyst - Onsite in Ciudad Juarez

Support financial business cases, cost control, profitability reviews, SAP projects, claims, audits, forecasting, and budgeting for electrical distribution programs.

Description

  • Develop accurate financial business cases for new quotations, programs, and engineering changes.
  • Confirm key assumptions and assign ownership to the appropriate functional teams.
  • Analyze cost changes related to engineering updates, CAPEX revisions, pricing, and purchasing inputs.
  • Apply cost models to test scenarios and define financial thresholds.
  • Prepare and present program profitability results in Gates Review meetings.
  • Lead cross-functional efforts to improve profitability throughout the gate review process.
  • Apply indexed commodity pricing correctly and ensure accurate launch pricing.
  • Support appropriation reviews, create SAP projects, and manage fund releases.
  • Pursue tooling rebilling and maintain updated forecasts.
  • Coordinate program claims and validate recoverable items and claimed amounts.
  • Support post-audit activities for major programs and present convergence plans.
  • Contribute to forecasting and budgeting for new programs.
  • Maintain documentation and work instructions while participating in internal audits.

Requirements

  • At least two years of experience in costing or program controlling, preferably in the automotive sector.
  • Hands-on expertise in cost estimation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
  • Experience in matrixed multinational organizations and collaboration with business leaders.
  • Advanced ability to build and use Excel-based financial models.
  • Practical knowledge of SAP.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related discipline.
  • An engineering background is a significant advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to turn complex data into actionable conclusions.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish.
