Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) – Illinois Remote

Provide remote outpatient mental health care to diverse patients through Brave Health’s telehealth program. Conduct individual psychotherapy, complete assessments, and create treatment plans.

Description

  • Deliver outpatient care through Brave Health’s telehealth program
  • Provide compassionate, high-quality mental health services
  • Treat patients across the lifespan
  • Complete approximately 30 client care hours each week
  • See an average of six clients daily
  • Provide individual psychotherapy
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and create treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with clients to support their goals
  • Use telehealth, video communication, and internal communication systems
  • Take part in the application review and questionnaire process

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and professional licensure
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
  • A private home workspace that supports patient safety and HIPAA compliance
  • Fluency in English
  • Spanish proficiency preferred; additional language skills are a plus
  • Knowledge of mental health and/or substance use diagnoses
  • Ability to develop treatment plans
  • Comfort using telehealth platforms, video communication, and internal communication tools
  • Experience collaborating with clients to help them reach their goals
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive clinical assessments
  • Capacity to complete 30 client care hours weekly, averaging six clients per day
  • Experience treating substance use and addiction disorders
  • Experience treating chronic, severe mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or schizoaffective disorder
  • At least 20 weekly client-facing hours of full-time individual psychotherapy experience
