Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) — Illinois Remote

Provide outpatient telehealth counseling for Brave Health, including assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and ongoing support for clients of all ages.

Description

  • Deliver outpatient mental health care through Brave Health’s telehealth program
  • Provide compassionate, high-quality treatment to patients across the lifespan
  • Assess and diagnose mental health and substance use conditions
  • Create individualized treatment plans
  • Work collaboratively with clients to pursue treatment goals
  • Complete thorough clinical assessments
  • Operate telehealth, video communication, and internal communication platforms
  • Maintain approximately 30 weekly client-care hours, or about six clients per day
  • Help Brave Health enter new markets by securing additional state licenses when required

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with relevant professional licensure
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
  • A private home workspace that supports patient safety and HIPAA compliance
  • Professional fluency in English
  • Spanish proficiency preferred; additional language skills are welcome
  • Working knowledge of mental health and substance use diagnoses
  • Demonstrated treatment-planning ability
  • Comfort with telehealth platforms, video communication, and internal messaging tools
  • Experience collaborating with clients to reach care goals
  • Ability to conduct and apply comprehensive clinical assessments
  • Current independent clinical credential, such as LCPC, LCSW, LISW, LMFT, LMHC, LPC, or LPCC
  • Capacity and willingness to provide 30 client-care hours weekly, averaging six clients per day
  • Experience treating chronic severe mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, or schizoaffective disorder
  • Willingness to secure additional state licenses as business needs require
