Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) – Illinois Remote

Brave Health is seeking a licensed clinical professional counselor to provide outpatient mental health care through telehealth. The role includes assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and client-focused support for patients across the lifespan.

Description

  • Deliver outpatient care through Brave Health’s telehealth program
  • Provide mental health treatment to patients across the lifespan
  • Collaborate with clients to help them meet treatment goals
  • Complete comprehensive clinical assessments
  • Diagnose mental health and substance use conditions
  • Create individualized treatment plans
  • Use telehealth, video conferencing, and internal communication platforms
  • Maintain approximately 30 client-care hours each week, averaging six clients daily
  • Treat patients with chronic, severe mental illnesses, including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, and schizoaffective disorder
  • Obtain additional state licenses as needed to support Brave Health’s expansion

Requirements

  • Master’s degree and professional licensure
  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship
  • A private home workspace that supports patient safety and HIPAA compliance
  • English fluency; Spanish proficiency is preferred
  • Knowledge of mental health and substance use diagnoses
  • Treatment-planning expertise
  • Comfort using telehealth software, video communication, and internal communication platforms
  • Experience collaborating with clients to meet treatment goals
  • Ability to conduct comprehensive assessments
  • Current full or independent clinical licensure
  • Willingness to secure additional state licenses when required
  • Capacity to complete 30 hours of client care each week
