Fashion Design Intern – Madrid Hybrid
Fashion Design Intern supporting collection development, trend research, prints, and technical specifications for Blue Banana Brand, a responsible fashion company. The role includes supplier collaboration, fittings, and production quality control.
Description
- Work with the Design team to develop new collections
- Research and analyze national and international trends for collection development
- Design new collection references in line with brand guidelines and style
- Prepare technical specifications
- Support measurement sheets and size grading
- Assist with size-set, sample, and new-pattern fittings
- Develop textile-ready prints, embroidery, and graphics
- Prepare sample comments for suppliers
- Organize the receipt and tracking of travel samples and web content
- Support quality control after production delivery
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a university degree in fashion design or a related field
- Availability to complete an internship through your educational institution, or interest in arranging one through a training partner
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic environment
- Understanding of the design process from initial concept through final product
- Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator
- Strong organization, planning, proactivity, and visual creativity
- Knowledge of product categories including circular knitwear, flat knitwear, accessories, and footwear
- Creative and curious mindset with a consistent desire to learn and grow
- Based in Madrid to work with the team
