Executive Briefing Product Production Specialist

Description

  • Research, write, and assemble executive briefing products for steady-state operations, incident management, and special events
  • Prepare and deliver oral briefings to senior executive audiences using synthesized, detailed research
  • Design briefing presentations and create briefing books
  • Administer electronic distribution lists
  • Facilitate presentations through video teleconferencing
  • Verify that products and presentations follow established style guides and standards
  • Organize and maintain electronic reference records and final products
  • Monitor and maintain group email accounts and calendars in unclassified and classified environments
  • Adjust working hours to support production, preparation, and distribution requirements
  • Provide surge coverage for 24/7 incident-management operations when needed
  • Report to the Program Manager
  • Handle other assigned duties

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Homeland Security, Emergency Management, Public Policy, Public Administration, English, or a related emphasis
  • An Associate’s degree may substitute for two additional years of experience
  • A high school diploma may substitute for four additional years of experience
  • Zero to two years of experience developing communications products
  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • May need to complete additional project- or client-required background checks during employment
  • Experience researching, writing, and assembling briefing products for diverse clients, including senior leaders
  • Experience preparing and presenting oral briefings to diverse clients, including senior leaders, based on synthesized and detailed research
  • Ability to understand and evaluate extensive technical information under time constraints
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and other general software applications
  • Strong facilitation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, high-intensity team environment
  • Physical and mental capacity to perform duties while standing for extended periods
  • Ability to use a computer and office productivity tools at sufficient speed
  • Ability to establish a productive, professional workspace
  • Ability to remain seated for extended periods while viewing a computer screen
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include holidays
  • Willingness to work outside normal business hours when requested
