Ecommerce Trading Assistant – White Stuff

Support White Stuff’s online fashion and homeware store by launching products, maintaining site content and merchandising categories. Help keep product data, promotions and customer communications accurate.

Description

  • Ensure each new product line launches correctly, with accurate copy, imagery, pricing, sizes, colours and categories.
  • Track launch dates against the trading calendar and flag delayed, missing or incomplete product lines.
  • Work with Product Publishing, Creative and Merchandising teams to resolve errors before and after launch.
  • Check the site regularly for broken links, unavailable products, incorrect details and poor-quality images.
  • Test the staging site and review promotions before they go live.
  • Verify markdown prices are uploaded and scheduled correctly for sale launches.
  • Carry out on-site checks ahead of major launches and promotions.
  • Upload, organise and maintain website assets.
  • Create homepage, landing page and category page content from approved briefs.
  • Help prepare seasonal site updates by loading content and remapping categories.
  • Arrange product categories in line with trading priorities, stock levels and new launches.
  • Update and maintain site hotspots.
  • Review site navigation and taxonomy, and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain product review groupings.
  • Check stock availability, product links and content in CRM emails before approval.
  • Keep launch and issue trackers current.
  • Provide ad hoc support for Ecommerce team tasks and projects.

Requirements

  • Some experience in ecommerce, retail, content or administration, or a strong interest in starting an ecommerce career.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP or VLOOKUP, and formulas for managing product data and trackers.
  • Interest in fashion, lifestyle or retail, including how customers shop online.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence working across teams.
  • Highly organised, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn, accept feedback and develop within the trading team.
