Collections Manager - Orlando (Hybrid)

Lead collections, accounts receivable, and credit-risk activities for Signature Aviation’s private aviation terminal network in Orlando. Improve cash flow, guide collectors, and strengthen global collections operations.

Description

  • Identify opportunities to improve cash collection efficiency
  • Apply collection strategies and policies to reduce overdue balances and regional risk exposure for the FSC team
  • Deliver consistently exceptional customer service
  • Analyze data and processes and prepare month-end and quarter-end collection reports
  • Maintain high standards of customer service and satisfaction
  • Prepare and review bad-debt calculations
  • Create and implement collections policies that keep receivables current and reduce bad-debt write-offs
  • Work directly with customer contacts to resolve collection issues
  • Assess credit risk and partner with sales and operations to limit exposure
  • Work with management on accounts receivable processes and subledger status, particularly for key customer accounts
  • Improve transaction processes through standardization, quality initiatives, and cost reduction
  • Maintain compliance with internal and external audit controls
  • Ensure efficient execution of functions and address underperformance with corrective action
  • Interpret the Authority Matrix and seek leadership guidance when clarification is required
  • Support accounts receivable close activities for the assigned account and regional portfolio
  • Coach employees, provide performance feedback, and support development opportunities
  • Allocate and deploy resources efficiently to deliver services

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with at least 3–5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Previous B2B and global collections experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong computer skills, including Excel proficiency
  • Effective problem-solving skills and close attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal capabilities
  • Proven leadership and team-building skills
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Ability to meet goals and deadlines in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment
  • Understanding of accounting principles and the ability to apply them
