Collections Analytics Manager - Mumbai (Onsite)
Manage collections reporting and analytics for loan recoveries, field performance, and delinquent accounts. Build dashboards, identify legal-action accounts, and provide recovery insights to collection and legal teams.
Description
- Produce and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly Collection MIS reports for management.
- Handle high volumes of loan and recovery data with precision.
- Build and update dashboards covering collections, bounce rates, and resolution rates.
- Work with field collection teams to measure daily performance against monthly targets and projections.
- Distribute calling and visit lists to tele-calling and field teams according to priority and delinquency categories.
- Report collection gaps by comparing projected results with actual recoveries and provide practical guidance to field supervisors.
- Investigate and correct data inconsistencies affecting field operations.
- Review chronic default accounts for potential legal action under internal credit and collections policies.
- Prepare account statements, bounced-cheque information, and borrower histories for legal review.
- Track accounts progressing through the legal pipeline, update case statuses, and report progress to the Collection Head.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce.
- Two to five years of experience in MIS and data management within collections, recovery, or risk functions at an NBFC or bank.
- Advanced proficiency with VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, PivotTables, conditional formatting, complex formulas, and data validation.
- Experience with Macros or VBA is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze numerical data, identify borrower-default trends, and draw sound conclusions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordination with field and legal teams.
- Experience using NBFC loan management systems such as FinnOne, Pennant, or comparable platforms.
- Exceptional data accuracy, with strict attention to preventing data leakage and misreporting.
