Cloud Operations Manager (India, Remote)

Lead cloud operations for Infios SaaS platforms in India, managing Kubernetes infrastructure across OCI and AWS. Oversee incident response, team leadership, automation, and service-level improvements.

Description

  • Partner with solutions architects and business stakeholders to design and deliver infrastructure engineering solutions for WM and TM platforms
  • Manage an operations team supporting SaaS Kubernetes applications across OCI and AWS
  • Coach and develop Operations Engineers through training and mentorship
  • Respond to event-driven alerts and incidents with a focus on service-level commitments
  • Drive the timely rollout and adoption of new technologies
  • Direct ticket triage and prioritization for the Client Services organization
  • Diagnose and resolve operating system, application, virtualization, and containerization issues
  • Collaborate with Engineering to build automation and processes that improve operational SLAs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
  • At least 3 years of management or leadership experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in operations
  • At least 5 years supporting large-scale .NET applications
  • At least 5 years supporting OCI and AWS environments
  • Foundational knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • Subject-matter expertise in managing and implementing Kubernetes solutions
  • Proficiency applying Infrastructure as Code practices and technologies, including Terraform
  • Broad automation experience with Azure DevOps, Ansible, PowerShell, Groovy, Python, or similar tools
  • Hands-on experience gathering performance data, analyzing results, troubleshooting issues, and tuning systems
  • Strong experience with application containers such as IIS and Tomcat
  • Full-stack troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with source code management systems, including Git
  • Preferred: Multi-cloud experience, particularly supporting AWS
  • Preferred: Experience managing Java applications
  • Preferred: Hands-on experience with Dynatrace
  • Preferred: Experience managing Helm-templated Kubernetes environments
  • Preferred: Understanding of microservice architectures
  • Preferred: Experience troubleshooting application protocols and messaging technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP, SOAP, SMTP, REST APIs, XML/JSON, JDBC, and JMS/MQ
  • Preferred: Exposure to application threading and concurrency issues
  • Preferred: Experience resolving response-time, connectivity, authentication, authorization, and configuration problems
  • Preferred: Experience supporting geographically distributed systems in hosted global datacenter environments
