Clinical Trial Manager - Malaysia (Remote)

Lead sponsor-dedicated clinical trials for ICON plc in Malaysia, coordinating operations, stakeholders, compliance, risk, and delivery quality. This full-time remote role supports clinical programmes from planning through execution.

Description

  • Oversee daily clinical trial management activities.
  • Plan and coordinate trial delivery against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish and implement trial protocols and procedures.
  • Develop effective working relationships with investigators and other study stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable local, national, and international regulations and ethical standards.
  • Resolve operational challenges and make informed decisions on study design, vendors, and risk controls.
  • Support colleagues and stakeholders in delivering consistent, high-quality clinical programme outcomes.

Requirements

  • University degree in medicine, science, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to drive a study’s clinical deliverables to completion.
  • Subject matter expertise in the assigned therapeutic area.
  • Substantial experience managing clinical trials.
  • Ability to balance competing priorities and support team development.
  • Previous clinical monitoring experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel as needed, approximately 25% of the time.
  • Legal authorization to work in Malaysia.
