Clinical Operations Manager – Brazil (Remote)

Manage compliant clinical trial delivery for ICON’s sponsor-dedicated programs. Lead trial execution, performance improvement, and development of clinical operations staff.

Description

  • Plan and lead clinical trial operations, keeping delivery aligned with protocols and timelines.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to refine trial design and improve efficiency across clinical development.
  • Track trial progress and performance measures, sharing insights to guide decisions and ongoing improvements.
  • Coach and develop junior colleagues while building a collaborative, high-performing team.
  • Develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support clear communication across clinical operations.
  • Direct trial delivery to meet efficiency, schedule, and regulatory compliance goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or healthcare field.
  • Substantial clinical operations management experience and a strong grasp of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Leadership ability to motivate and manage teams in a changing environment.
  • Experience with project management methods and tools, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and achieve outcomes.
  • Able to travel as needed, approximately 30%.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country where the role is based.
