Description
- Help establish the company as a European leader in data-driven business models
- Set the direction for data use across the financial sector
- Lead the technology vision, including emerging technologies and new product concepts
- Keep customer needs central to technology and business decisions
- Lead C-level sales conversations independently
- Engage decision-makers with forward-looking technology insight and a strong grasp of business value
- Work with customers to uncover new product and business use cases
- Turn existing capabilities into viable business concepts and models
- Own and prioritize the technology roadmap using data and evidence
- Keep engineering and product teams focused on the highest-impact work
- Partner strategically with the founder and executive leadership
- Help determine fino’s strategic direction
- Evaluate decisions through clear, measurable outcomes
- Use performance insights to define subsequent actions
Requirements
- Several years leading technology as a CTO, VP of Engineering, or in a comparable senior role
- Experience in FinTech or banking is preferred
- An entrepreneurial outlook paired with a visionary approach
- Strong awareness of emerging technologies
- Ability to independently turn new technologies into viable business models
- A practical, hands-on working style
- Confidence advancing ideas directly in client conversations
- Clear, convincing communication with clients, teams, executives, and decision-makers
- Deep knowledge of modern cloud architecture
- Experience working with REST and GraphQL APIs
- Knowledge of data analytics and AI/ML technology stacks
- Understanding of banking security and regulatory obligations
- Negotiation-level fluency in German and English, equivalent to C1
- Additional foreign-language skills are preferred
