Chief of Staff, Strategy & Transformation at RTX

Support Pratt & Whitney’s SVP of Strategy & Transformation at RTX by leading enterprise initiatives, executive communications, and cross-functional execution. This full-time hybrid role is based in East Hartford, Connecticut.

Description

  • Deliver strategic, analytical, technical, organizational, and executive support to the SVP of Strategy & Transformation
  • Independently advance initiatives spanning the enterprise
  • Direct high-priority strategy projects and special assignments
  • Coordinate across P&Ls, functional leaders, and senior executives as the primary liaison
  • Increase operating efficiency by refining processes, meeting rhythms, and cross-functional collaboration
  • Identify emerging requirements and develop proactive, practical solutions
  • Evaluate and distill complex information to support sound decisions
  • Prepare presentations and reports for executives and the Board
  • Coordinate senior-level meetings, travel, external engagements, and high-visibility executive communications

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, operations management, finance, economics, or a related field plus 14 or more years of experience; or an advanced degree in one of these areas plus 12 or more years of experience
  • Professional experience in management consulting, chief of staff work, or a related field
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Strong relationship-building, communication, and collaboration abilities
  • Ability to influence and engage senior leaders
  • Proactive, self-directed approach with ownership of continuous improvement
  • Excellent organization and attention to detail
  • Capacity to synthesize complex information and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and data-informed decision-making skills
  • Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools
  • Comfort using technology, including AI tools
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and communications
  • Working knowledge of the aerospace and defense sector
