Truist seeks a Business Information Developer I to analyze client, digital, and marketing data and turn findings into actionable business solutions. The role supports revenue growth, operational efficiency, risk reduction, and stronger competitive positioning through analytics and cross-functional collaboration.

Description

  • Develop sustainable solutions that grow revenue, improve efficiency, reduce risk, or strengthen Truist’s competitive position.
  • Analyze, validate, and interpret insights for Digital, Client Experience, and Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams to advance strategic business outcomes.
  • Assess business and user needs, document requirements, measure performance, and interpret results for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead efforts to define, structure, and design solutions for complex business challenges.
  • Analyze, design, and maintain information-system data sources as project needs and requirements evolve.
  • Use analytics tools to evaluate client interactions, improve client experience and digital adoption, and support marketing segmentation.
  • Apply subject-matter, industry, and technical expertise to recommend actions to business leaders.
  • Lead projects with moderate budgets or short-to-intermediate timelines.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent education and relevant training.
  • Five to ten years of experience in analysis and design.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, including the capacity to derive actionable recommendations from complex analytics and large datasets.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with standard computer applications, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally, including overnight trips.
  • Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python.
  • Ability to access and interpret client information and communicate with people in person and by phone.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment, including a PC keyboard and mouse, copy and fax machines, and printers.
  • Availability to work scheduled hours, including overtime when directed by a manager or required by business needs.
  • Ability to work in the United States without Truist visa sponsorship or immigration-related support.
