- Elicit trader requirements, assess daily challenges, and convert findings into clear functional specifications
- Investigate complex production incidents alongside development teams
- Own projects independently, including steering committees, progress reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Plan functional testing and confirm release readiness
- Contribute to change management activities for the FX desk
- Connect Business and Technology teams within an Agile delivery model
- Work within the Electronic FX Trading IT team supporting a corporate and investment bank
- Partner directly with Front Office teams on electronic order-execution applications
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent Master's qualification in finance, computer science, or a related specialization
- Three to six years of professional experience
- Professional experience in a CIB Front Office setting focused on electronic trading
- Working knowledge of Fixed Income products, including IRS or interest rates, repos, and bonds, plus RFQ, Auto-Quote, and STP quoting processes
- Strong technical capability with SQL database queries and application-log analysis, along with an interest in Python scripting
- Proactive, quick to learn, and able to build confidence with and constructively challenge Front Office stakeholders
- Fluent English for work in an international environment
- Prior exposure to or knowledge of the ION Trading platform is advantageous
