BI Consultant – SAP BW/4HANA, German-Speaking, Budapest Hybrid
Translate business needs into SAP BW/4HANA, Power BI, and Celonis solutions while improving reporting and analytics. Support Qualysoft’s enterprise IT clients across business analysis, data modeling, and process mining.
Description
- Collect, consolidate, and organize requirements for controlling reports and process-mining initiatives
- Lead stakeholder discussions to define consistent, standardized reporting needs
- Assess and document data entities, relationships, and dependencies across source systems
- Convert business needs into specifications for data models, analytics, and reporting products
- Help build and refine data models in SAP BW/4HANA and SAP HANA
- Create and improve reports with Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Celonis
- Support analytics and reporting initiatives for customer contact management and controlling
- Coordinate delivery work against priorities defined in the Product Owner backlog
- Connect business stakeholders with Business Analytics teams and Product Owners
- Track business impediments and dependencies from identification through resolution
- Spot gaps, contradictions, and logical issues in requirements and drive their clarification
- Record meetings, requirements, decisions, and agreed business outcomes
- Help advance the Meter2Cash data and analytics landscape
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in business analysis, data analytics, BI consulting, or a similar role, preferably in complex enterprise settings
- Strong capability in requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and stakeholder coordination
- Experience converting business needs into specifications for data, analytics, and reporting solutions
- Solid understanding of data models, entities, relationships, and source-system structures
- Experience with SAP BW/4HANA and/or SAP HANA, especially data modeling and reporting
- Practical experience using Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, and Celonis
- Experience with controlling reports, process mining, or customer analytics is strongly preferred
- Ability to detect requirement gaps, dependencies, and inconsistencies and lead clarification efforts
- Background collaborating with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and technical or data teams
- Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and stakeholder-management abilities
- Demonstrated ownership, self-direction, and accountability
- Experience in an agile project or product setting
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Fluent German for professional and business communication
