Integration Engineer – Java, REST and OpenAPI
Build and support Java-based integrations for Harmoney’s SaaS compliance platform, based from its Ghent office. Take ownership of the integration catalogue and help shape a future marketplace.

- Assess integration opportunities, gather requirements and develop proofs of concept.
- Build new integrations and enhance existing ones.
- Support and maintain integrations used by customers.
- Maintain and extend interfaces connecting the product with integrated services.
- Review the integration architecture and identify improvements.
- Build the integration catalogue and later develop it into a marketplace.
- Work with the core team, custom team and sales to bring integrations to market.
- Assume ownership of the integration catalogue within your first year and establish the foundations for an integration marketplace.
Requirements
- Bring 3–6 years of experience in software or integration engineering.
- Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT or a related discipline.
- Be confident developing with Java, REST and OpenAPI.
- Understand authentication frameworks such as OAuth.
- Design durable integrations that address needs beyond the stated requirements.
- Take ownership before, during and after implementation.
- Communicate clearly with technical and business colleagues.
- Be fluent in English and Dutch.
- Experience with Quarkus, Kubernetes, Azure, service mesh, SAML or single sign-on, AI, or compliance is an advantage.
- Be interested in leading a team in the future.
