Description

  • Build and administer Azure infrastructure with Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep
  • Automate cloud deployments and resource management through Azure DevOps pipelines, scripts, and automation tools
  • Track and improve Azure service performance, scalability, and spending
  • Develop, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines for applications and services hosted on Azure
  • Partner with developers on repositories, build workflows, and deployment automation
  • Apply established version-control and release-management practices
  • Administer Linux servers to support availability, security, and performance
  • Handle system updates, patching, and configuration management with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
  • Diagnose networking, security, application-performance, and broader systems issues
  • Apply security best practices across Azure services and Linux infrastructure
  • Perform security reviews and audits, then implement required patches and updates
  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards
  • Work with development, QA, and operations teams to improve delivery processes
  • Support production environments, including on-call participation when required
  • Record configurations, procedures, and operational guidance for Azure and Linux environments

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with Azure services, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security
  • Strong Linux administration skills across Red Hat, Ubuntu, or CentOS
  • Practical experience with Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or comparable CI/CD platforms
  • Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python
  • Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience tuning performance, monitoring systems, and planning capacity in cloud and Linux environments
  • Strong analytical ability and systems-troubleshooting skills
  • Clear communication and effective collaboration skills
  • Careful documentation habits and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Azure Administrator or Azure DevOps Engineer certification is preferred
  • Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Functions, or Logic Apps is preferred
  • Background in cloud network security and VPN configuration is preferred
  • Familiarity with managing SQL or NoSQL databases in cloud environments is preferred
