Associate, Strategic Partnerships — Tempus AI

Support Tempus AI’s oncology accounts through data-led workflow improvement and strategic partnership initiatives. Help healthcare teams apply analytics, training, and clinical collaboration to improve account performance.

Description

  • Drive metrics-based support plans for assigned accounts across investigation, intervention, and monitoring phases.
  • Review performance metrics, uncover operational bottlenecks, and develop focused solutions.
  • Work with customers, account teams, care teams, and pathology laboratories to implement practical workflows.
  • Monitor account health against quantitative thresholds and guide workflow enhancements.
  • Coordinate internal and external account meetings, report-outs, Monthly Business Reviews, and customer training.
  • Strengthen account enablement by training and developing internal field and sales teams.
  • Create and share account materials, including agendas, executive presentations, targeted newsletters, and customized action plans.
  • Raise workflow concerns, inefficiencies, and stalled initiatives in partnership with the Strategic Partnerships Manager.
  • Visit client sites to assess clinical workflows and support initiative adoption.
  • Build account independence and sustained success through effective training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, life sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
  • One to two years of experience in external account management or project management.
  • One to two years of practical experience using data and analytics to recommend solutions, support strategic decisions, or measure results.
  • One to two years of experience partnering across functions such as sales, customer success, and commercial operations.
  • One to two years of experience using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office for email, documents, and spreadsheets.
  • Capacity to quickly learn and clearly explain complex genomic, scientific, and clinical oncology topics.
  • Strong analytical judgment, including the ability to assess trends, identify insights, and convert them into account strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills when working with varied healthcare audiences.
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple account lifecycles concurrently.
  • Adaptability, strong organization, and comfort working in a changing environment.
  • Preferred: familiarity with generative AI tools, CRM platforms, data visualization software, project management systems, oncology electronic medical records, and clinical pathology workflows.
