Analytics and Reporting Consultant - Illinois Remote

Remote consultant role supporting HCSC’s Illinois healthcare stakeholders through Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, and R. Turn analytical findings into practical business insights and decisions.

Description

  • Apply advanced Tableau expertise and healthcare knowledge to support clinical and business stakeholders across the Illinois Commercial HMO and Marketplace
  • Deliver analytical support and consulting services to internal and external customers
  • Advise internal and external senior leaders on analytical matters
  • Analyze and report on data using Excel, SQL, Python, and R
  • Use Tableau and Power BI storytelling to communicate outcomes and identify opportunities
  • Gather and document business requirements for information-focused strategies
  • Develop and deliver presentations that inform and influence stakeholders
  • Lead functional teams and project initiatives
  • Address complex analytical challenges by adapting existing solutions to new contexts

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree plus four years of analytical experience in relationship management or converting analytics into action, or nine years of equivalent analytical experience
  • Experience collecting and documenting business requirements for information-related strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve complex problems by applying existing solutions from new perspectives
  • Knowledge of software development processes, including SDLC and Agile methodologies, tools, and technologies
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations that inform and influence audiences
  • Experience leading functional teams and projects
  • Experience with SAS, SPSS, R, MATLAB, SQL, and Python
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications, including Access, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Healthcare experience in business development, business analytics, or innovation management is preferred
  • Master’s degree preferred
