Accounting & Reporting Specialist - Milan Hybrid

Support Intertek’s Italian finance operations through financial reporting, closing, budgeting, analysis, and data validation. Maintain accurate reporting tools while partnering with Finance and operational teams in a multinational environment.

Description

  • Produce financial and management reports for local, regional Finance, and Group stakeholders
  • Gather, consolidate, and verify financial information across business areas
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close alongside the Finance Manager and Shared Service teams
  • Help manage budgeting, forecasting, and working capital reporting activities
  • Analyze financial results and variances while tracking key performance indicators
  • Assist with account reconciliations and required accounting adjustments
  • Coordinate the timely submission of financial data to meet reporting deadlines
  • Serve as a liaison between Finance and operational teams on accounting and reporting topics
  • Maintain and enhance reporting files, databases, and Excel-based tools
  • Contribute to improvements in reporting processes, information flows, and internal controls

Requirements

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Around 4–6 years of experience in accounting, reporting, or finance support, ideally in a multinational or international organization
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles, periodic close procedures, and financial reporting
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence using financial data and reporting tools
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and practical approach to problem solving
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities, with effective cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Fluent Italian and working proficiency in English
