- Support the Marketing & Communications team, organizational leaders, and departments with daily coordination.
- Contribute to marketing and recruitment initiatives through materials and campaign planning.
- Coordinate communication with departments, centers, institutes, development, and alumni relations.
- Maintain the peer communications calendar.
- Research and write content for print and digital marketing materials.
- Provide backup assistance for social media and website updates.
- Create and distribute e-newsletters, announcements, display ads, and other digital assets.
- Manage information distribution through email lists, newsletters, conference handouts, and related materials.
- Compile digital marketing analytics and contribute to performance reporting.
- Produce instructional and promotional multimedia content.
- Support school events and coordinate with the school events team.
- Collaborate with external vendors on graphic design, printing, promotional materials, and marketing automation.
- Provide general marketing and project management assistance.
- Build and update bulk and automated email campaigns in Emma.
- Prepare test lists and verify email formatting and dynamic content.
- Coordinate email proofreading.
- Create banner advertisements in Emma.
- Segment and upload email lists to the email service provider.
- Create UTM tracking codes and collect campaign response metrics.
- Help develop and maintain email marketing standard operating procedures.
- Identify existing CTY content for use in marketing emails.
- Complete additional assigned duties.

- High school diploma or equivalent completion.
- Three years of relevant experience.
- Previous experience in marketing or communications.
- Additional education may substitute for required experience under the JHU equivalency formula.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Social media or project management certifications preferred.
- Experience with events, media, and public relations preferred.
- Growing proficiency in writing, project coordination, email marketing, digital communications, content marketing, campaign management, and branding.
- Design experience is advantageous.
- Google Analytics experience is advantageous.
- Salesforce experience is advantageous.
- Selected candidates must complete a pre-employment background check.
