Core Engine Programmer - C++ (Hybrid)
Build and advance IO Interactive’s proprietary Glacier engine for ambitious multiplatform games. Develop scalable C++ systems that support multiple console generations and studio projects.

- Design, build, and maintain foundational engine systems such as entity management, resource handling, and infrastructure
- Advance the proprietary Glacier engine for upcoming and active game projects
- Create reliable, maintainable C++ systems used across multiple titles and console generations
- Improve memory use and runtime performance while addressing scalability and platform limitations
- Create, integrate, and maintain profiling and diagnostic tooling
- Partner with the Technical Director and Engine team to define and deliver the technical roadmap
- Help expand platform support by adapting core systems to new technologies and platforms
- Coach junior engineers and promote effective knowledge sharing
- Develop and uphold consistent studio coding practices and standards
आवश्यकताएँ
- At least three years of professional engine programming experience with C++
- Experience shipping at least one AAA game as an engine programmer
- Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, memory management, and multithreading
- Advanced ability to diagnose complex issues spanning systems in large codebases
- Experience with console development and platform-specific technical constraints
- Ability to decompose work, estimate effort, and evaluate engineering scope
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a distributed international team
