Accounts Payable Specialist - Michigan Remote
Manage invoices, payments, claims, audits, and related accounting activities for Easterseals MORC. This full-time remote position requires residence in Michigan.

- Oversee an accurate and efficient accounts payable process
- Verify, process, and record invoices and expenses
- Ensure financial transactions comply with organizational policies and standards
- Complete annual business license and registration renewals and updates
- Enter and scan accounts payable invoices while managing coding and approval workflows
- Match checks with supporting records and mail them
- Support the preparation of annual audits and tax filings
- Handle general office responsibilities, including mail distribution
- Manage vendor debarment activities
- Approve and process MI Choice claims as directed
- Review manual entries prepared by team members
- Examine check runs by matching invoices with checks and electronic funds transfers for accuracy

- Associate degree in accounting or a related field
- Associate degree or higher in accounting
- Must reside in Michigan
- Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
- Willingness to support and assist individuals experiencing trauma-related issues
