  • Lead complex technology consulting engagements and deepen strategic client relationships
  • Manage technology risk while creating practical solutions with analytics, automation, and modern tools
  • Provide technical and commercial leadership for Protiviti’s AWS Platform Engineering practice
  • Set architecture direction for strategic engagements and resolve high-risk technical challenges
  • Create reusable delivery standards and grow engineering and architecture capabilities
  • Build senior-client trust and connect delivery quality with account growth
  • Pursue new business, represent Protiviti externally, and mentor consulting teams
  • Provide senior technical direction across complex AWS client engagements
  • Define architecture principles and engineering standards for AWS Platform Engineering
  • Advise CIO, CTO, CISO, architecture, infrastructure, and engineering leaders on cloud strategy and AWS decisions
  • Support Solutions Architects and Senior Cloud Engineers through complex architecture and delivery challenges
  • Evaluate major designs spanning AWS infrastructure, networking, security, resilience, migration, modernization, automation, and operating models
  • Step in to resolve high-risk and highly complex delivery situations
  • Keep engagements aligned with client outcomes, engineering quality, security expectations, and sustainable operating models
  • Create reusable reference architectures, engineering frameworks, accelerators, and intellectual property
  • Strengthen technical capability through mentoring, coaching, design reviews, and knowledge sharing
  • Collaborate with AWS alliance and pre-sales leaders on strategic opportunities
  • Support technical solution design, estimation, executive presentations, proposals, and statements of work
  • Cultivate senior client relationships that generate advisory and engineering opportunities
  • Help develop and convert the pipeline while achieving the assigned sales quota
  • Represent AWS Platform Engineering to AWS technical teams, strategic clients, and industry stakeholders

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as management information systems, information systems, or computer science
  • At least 9 years of experience in professional services or industry
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate certification required
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification preferred
  • AWS Certified Security – Specialty certification preferred
  • Extensive expertise in designing, implementing, and governing enterprise AWS environments
  • Ability to influence architecture and technology strategy across large or complex organizations
  • Experience leading multiple complex cloud engagements or technical-work portfolios
  • Strong architecture experience spanning infrastructure, networking, security, automation, resilience, governance, operations, and migration
  • Ability to advise senior executives while maintaining credibility with highly technical engineering teams
  • Substantial experience shaping and estimating complex cloud-transformation engagements
  • Ability to identify client needs and turn them into valuable consulting and engineering opportunities
  • Experience developing technical leaders and elevating engineering standards across an organization
  • Strong grasp of consulting economics, delivery risk, scope control, and commercial decision-making
  • Experience in consulting, professional services, or systems-integration environments strongly preferred
  • Experience with Amazon Bedrock, including agents, knowledge bases, and guardrails
  • Experience with AWS Step Functions or comparable orchestration services
  • Knowledge of API design and integration patterns, including REST and event-driven approaches
  • Experience designing data architectures for agent knowledge bases that ingest and index procurement and logistics data
  • Infrastructure-as-Code experience with CDK or CloudFormation
  • Experience with IAM, networking, and VPC design in AWS environments
  • Familiarity with ERP integration patterns, including JDE and Oracle FBDI export formats
  • Ability to convert procurement workflows into technical architecture
  • Prior leadership of agentic AI or generative-AI implementations beyond chatbot development
  • Ability to remain accountable for an assigned sales quota
  • Successful completion of a background check
