Own QuickBooks Online bookkeeping, reconciliations, payroll accounting, and GAAP reporting for a fractional CFO firm serving beauty, wellness, design, and service businesses.
Tavsif
- Manage client books end to end, from transaction categorization through final financial statements
- Classify transactions accurately using available resources before raising questions with clients
- Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and clearing accounts each month
- Lead month-end close for every client and deliver accurate results on schedule
- Prepare and maintain GAAP-compliant income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, including accruals and adjusting entries
- Configure and improve QuickBooks Online charts of accounts, classes, locations, and product or service structures
- Create practical QuickBooks Online workarounds for customized reporting views
- Reconcile monthly Gusto, ADP, or Paychex payroll reports with QuickBooks Online, including tips, commissions, and benefits
- Produce tax-ready books and year-end documentation packages for CPAs
- Maintain audit trails, internal controls, and supporting documentation
- Investigate receipts, historical trends, vendor information, and prior communications before contacting clients
- Explain complex accounting matters in clear, accessible English
- Consolidate client questions and provide the context needed for efficient responses
- Write and maintain standard operating procedures to scale the accounting function
- Spot manual work and collaborate on automation opportunities
- As the client base grows, potentially lead and review bookkeepers while helping define quality standards
Talablar
- Hold an active QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification and demonstrate advanced, practical experience
- Bring at least three years of direct accounting experience supporting U.S.-based businesses
- Have a track record of preparing U.S. GAAP-compliant financial statements and managing month-end close
- Have reconciled payroll reports from platforms such as Gusto, ADP, or Paychex
- Communicate fluently in written and spoken English
- Explain financial concepts clearly to clients without finance backgrounds
- Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail
- Apply a strong systems-oriented approach to accounting work
- Show enthusiasm for automating repetitive processes
- Experience in beauty and wellness, interior design, or brick-and-mortar service businesses is preferred
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
