Grow CooperVision contact lens sales across Southern Alberta and Southern Saskatchewan. Manage optical customer relationships, territory plans, product training, and business development.

Tavsif

  • Drive sales performance against territory quotas.
  • Use consultative selling to identify and address customer needs.
  • Complete at least six customer meetings each workday as part of the territory call cycle.
  • Reply to customer phone and email inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Create and maintain detailed customer profiles.
  • Plan and carry out customer call cycles to grow territory business.
  • Prepare account plans for at least the top 25 customers and present quarterly growth plans.
  • Develop new business across the assigned territory.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of CooperVision and competing products.
  • Track industry trends and analysis, including Health Product Research data.
  • Introduce CooperVision technology and value-added products and services to customer offices, and train their teams.
  • Create customer marketing plans and promotions, then assess their return on investment.
  • Use CRM tools and daily reports to analyze products, account sales, and territory growth.
  • Attend provincial and regional optical shows when requested.
  • Submit call, expense, return-on-investment, and other administrative reports on time.
  • Travel independently within and beyond the territory for conferences, site training, and regional meetings.

  • Be able to present to customer groups of varying sizes.
  • Be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Have 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably in the optical industry or a related medical or technical healthcare field.
  • Experience selling tangible products is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of the optical industry is beneficial.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred; candidates with sales experience and a demonstrated record of performance and results may also be considered.
