Tavsif

  • Create engaging Android application experiences
  • Develop and scale hunter-focused features for the Hunt team
  • Work with engineers and product managers across teams to integrate services effectively
  • Help shape architectural decisions
  • Write unit, integration, and acceptance tests
  • Review code and improve test coverage across the team
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate A/B experiments
  • Develop AI into a consistent co-pilot for everyday workflows
  • Own assigned work while collaborating with partners across the organization
  • Report to the Engineering Manager for Hunt

Talablar

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • At least four years of professional software development experience
  • At least two years of professional Android development focused on Kotlin and/or Java
  • Evaluate technologies and solutions for merit, stability, performance, and debuggability
  • Write maintainable, well-tested, and understandable code
  • Experience with continuous integration
  • Permanent US work authorization is required as a condition of employment
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for several days to a corporate office or other onX strategic location
  • Demonstrate strong ownership, customer advocacy, curiosity about emerging technologies including AI, and a hypothesis-driven, metrics-focused approach
  • Demonstrate alignment with onX Company Values; bonus experience includes Split/Eppo, client event instrumentation, Kotlin Flows and Coroutines, Jetpack Compose, speed-versus-quality tradeoffs, and distributed collaboration.
