Opis

  • Develop and maintain complex Java applications across enterprise codebases
  • Reverse-engineer existing systems to assess architecture, dependencies, business logic, and technical constraints
  • Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, analysis, refactoring, testing, and documentation
  • Apply structured AI development methods, including reverse engineering and Spec-Driven Development (SDD)
  • Modernize Java applications by removing or replacing legacy dependencies and outdated components
  • Create and enhance automated tests that support safe refactoring and modernization
  • Partner with engineers and stakeholders to turn requirements and existing system behavior into maintainable solutions
  • Help teams adopt consistent, effective AI-assisted development practices
  • Uphold strong standards for code quality, maintainability, testing, and engineering practices

Zahteve

  • Strong Java development experience, preferably with enterprise applications and complex existing systems
  • Hands-on experience developing, maintaining, refactoring, and modernizing Java applications
  • At least 3 months using Copilot as the primary AI code-generation tool on a team project, or at least 6 months using comparable tools such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, Antigravity, or similar
  • Practical experience with structured, shared AI development workflows, especially reverse engineering or Spec-Driven Development (SDD)
  • Experience using AI-assisted processes to generate tests
  • Experience refactoring Java systems to remove or replace legacy dependencies
  • Ability to understand and navigate unfamiliar, complex codebases
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals, including clean code, automated testing, version control, and collaborative development
  • Strong communication and effective collaboration skills with technical teams and stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience with Java 17 and Java 21
  • Experience working with relational SQL databases
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases
