Opis

  • Develop AI features for a social media platform with millions of users.
  • Collaborate closely with the platform architect and engineering team.
  • Create foundational AI infrastructure in a greenfield environment.
  • Help define engineering practices as the team expands.
  • Connect services with Ruby on Rails and React/TypeScript applications.
  • Own backend services from data schema design through deployment and on-call operations.
  • Build and operate LLM serving, retrieval, evaluation, instrumentation, and safety systems.

Zahteve

  • At least five years of backend engineering experience with a statically typed language such as Go, Java, Kotlin, or C#.
  • Production experience delivering LLM-powered features, including retrieval-augmented generation, streaming responses, and tool use.
  • Practical experience with LLM serving infrastructure, including multi-provider routing, failover, token streaming, and cost and usage tracking.
  • Experience building retrieval systems with vector search, embedding pipelines, context assembly, and citation-supported answers.
  • Ability to instrument hallucinations, retrieval failures, provider outages, and cost overruns.
  • Experience evaluating AI answer quality for relevance, safety, source quality, and repeatable results.
  • Strong API design skills.
  • Ability to own a service from schema design through deployment and on-call support.
  • Based in the United States and authorized to work there.
  • Go is strongly preferred.
  • Python experience.
  • Experience with LLM gateways or serving tools such as LiteLLM, vLLM, or TGI.
  • Experience with vector databases such as Qdrant or pgvector and with embedding pipelines.
  • Experience fine-tuning open-weight models with LoRA or full fine-tuning.
  • Experience with content moderation or safety tools.
  • Familiarity with Ruby on Rails or React/TypeScript.
