Opis

  • Set the strategy and roadmap for Digital Imaging, then lead technology deployments across Digital Pathology, Digital Radiology, and Clinical Imaging.
  • Build partnerships with teams in Pre-Clinical Sciences & Translational Safety, Oncology, Neuroscience, Immunology, Data Sciences, Molecular Imaging, and other groups.
  • Spot opportunities to advance Digital Imaging platforms for pharmaceutical R&D.
  • Define success measures and deliver Digital Imaging platform capabilities.
  • Work across IT and influence technology leaders at the sector and enterprise levels.
  • Collaborate with the Life Sciences imaging community outside the company.
  • Guide the technology stack for scheduling, communications, monitoring, reporting, alerting, deployment, orchestration, configuration management, infrastructure, reuse, and reproducibility.
  • Use cloud computing to deliver effective solutions.
  • Develop sustainable models for operations, processing, and resource use.
  • Adopt containerization, serverless, accelerated AI/ML and deep learning, and agentic AI where appropriate.
  • Lead, develop, support, and motivate direct reports and the wider team.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Science, or a related field plus at least 6 years of industry experience; or a relevant master’s degree plus at least 4 years of industry experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, programs, and projects, applying business acumen to identify and create opportunities.
  • Experience with AWS EC2 and S3.
  • Experience with Windows platforms.
  • Experience managing vendors.
  • Experience working with cross-functional, global teams.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, collaborative workplace.
  • Preferred: experience with visualization tools and techniques.
  • Preferred: experience with Python, Java, C++, or another complex programming language.
  • Preferred: experience with Linux platforms.
  • Preferred: familiarity with imaging technologies such as PACS or similar image management solutions, and/or image analysis technologies.
  • Preferred: experience using Agile methodology.
