Onsite Desktop Support Technician
Support Kahuna’s Windows workplace, hardware, networks, and users. Troubleshoot desktops, applications, and connectivity onsite in Broomfield, Colorado.
Opis
- Install and upgrade hardware in desktop and laptop computers
- Configure and troubleshoot wired Ethernet and wireless connections
- Support desktop operating systems and applications in a Windows and Microsoft Office environment
- Prepare workstations by installing operating systems and applications
- Assist users moving to replacement computers
- Diagnose user issues, identify root causes, and provide clear, step-by-step help
- Assist company users onsite and remotely
- Handle routine office tasks, including filing and email responses
- Protect sensitive company and user information through discreet, confidential handling
- Learn on the job from experienced systems administrators
Zahteve
- At least two years of experience working with computers and networks in an office setting
- Knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware and software, including Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft 365 applications, Ethernet networking, and security
- Sound understanding of customer service ethics and practices
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for assisting users with limited computer knowledge
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot computer problems
- Comfort helping users with a range of smartphones
- Ability to lift 40 pounds and climb ladders occasionally
- Familiarity with AutoCAD is encouraged
- Experience in a multi-server environment is a plus, but not required
- CompTIA A+ certification or an equivalent credential is encouraged, but not required
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is unavailable for this role
