Lead daily operations at Grifols’ Everett plasma center, with responsibility for donor safety, regulatory compliance, staffing, and production. Step in for the Center Manager as needed and coordinate teams, quality goals, and facility performance.

Opis

  • Manage daily operations at a plasma collection center.
  • Protect donor safety while meeting regulatory, production, quality, and profitability goals.
  • Run the center independently when the Center Manager is absent.
  • Work with Training and Quality teams to meet training and quality objectives.
  • Coach employees through Operations Supervisors.
  • Assess operations and create or adjust plans to improve efficiency.
  • Oversee hiring, work assignments, employee development and training, discipline, terminations, and personnel records.
  • Prepare budgets with the Center Manager and track performance against production and quality targets.
  • Assign work to Operations Supervisors, monitor results, and hold them accountable.
  • Supervise employees and create and manage work schedules.
  • Stay capable of performing all center tasks and occasionally cover production duties.
  • Keep the facility clean and equipment in good condition.
  • Manage freezers and plasma shipments, address equipment failures, and respond to freezer alarms.
  • Create and run donor recruitment advertising campaigns.
  • Follow state and federal rules, FDA-approved procedures, OSHA, CLIA, and cGMP requirements.
  • Oversee donor selection, plasma collection, and manufacturing records.
  • Build donor relationships and encourage continued donations.
  • Manage donor funds and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Report operational irregularities and put corrective actions in place.
  • Review risks and investigate unsafe conditions and complaints.
  • Oversee external vendors.
  • Review and track special projects.
  • Support the donor center’s community mission.

Zahteve

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; a degree in science, business, nursing, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Typically at least three years of related clinical or general business experience.
  • Ability to understand and evaluate FDA regulations.
  • Ability to sustain plasma collection levels while meeting quality standards.
  • Ability to motivate staff to meet established goals and standards.
  • Developing skills in leadership, organization, customer service, interpersonal communication, and computer use.
  • Relocation may be required.
  • Ability to work in an office, laboratory, or manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to work near biological fluids, infectious organisms, extreme cold, production chemicals, moving machinery, and high noise levels.
  • Ability to use required personal protective equipment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds.
  • Ability to drive frequently to site locations and travel occasionally within the United States.
